I saw a news blurb where they showed laser use. For anyone who wants more narratives like this, I recommend the book Set Phasers on Stun, about mishaps in a variety of situations. Stealth technology is designed not to make the fighter or bomber invisible, just to be the size of a sparrow. Their have been tests of putting lasers on fighters, but I don't know where that has gotten.
